In her 20-year career as an educator and consultant, Monica has always put forth the same recipe for wellness and harmony. It’s equal parts positive attitude, quality nutrition and active living, mixed with medicinal and preventative herbs. On top of her Herbology course at NHC Institute, Monica also teaches workshops on herbal medicine and invigorating Outdoor Education classes at Marianopolis College. Her company, Herbs on the Side, helps clients identify, prepare and integrate herbs into their lifestyle. Monica has a degree in Physical Education. She was also trained at the Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, New York and she received her Advanced Herbal Training certificate at Sage Mountain in Vermont. Monica is a member of Montreal’s Guilde des herboristes and Can-Fit-Pro.
